I am a hobby photographer living in the southeastern United States. Ten years ago it occurred to me that I needed to purchase a quality camera system to take better pictures of my children’s activities. So after a trip to the local camera store and renting some professional camera gear, I purchased a full frame digital camera, some quality lenses and starting taking pictures. Using the better camera machinery opened up an advanced way for me to see life as it was unfolding around me. I began to regard the world from a different perspective and started to appreciate how light illuminates people and events. And I gained a new appreciation for sports, the performing arts, the senior year and the prom. I took thousands of pictures and I learned from my mistakes and committed to making my work better. My goal is to catch people at their best in their happy moments, capture their coruscation, and then share their best images with them. The art of photography is a wonderful endeavor. Picking up a digital camera has been a good decision for me. It has enabled me to view my world differently and meet and become friends with people that I would have never known. And to view a sporting event from the sideline is a privilege and a unique and awesome experience. This web content is not a solicitation for business. I am not a professional photographer. I only take pictures for friends and family. I use Cannon camera bodies, Canon and Sigma lenses and prefer the Lightroom digital editing system.
